The new search for design excellence has officially begun: the call for entries for the ninth edition of the awards promoted by Archiproducts is open
The Archiproducts Design Awards are back and ready to celebrate international design excellence once again! With a new jury, the ADA 2024 is preparing to reveal the creative synergies between designers and brands, offering exclusive insight into new trends, outlining and redefining the future of design.
Now, in their ninth edition, the awards promoted by Archiproducts have confirmed their position not only as a prestigious recognition but also as a privileged observatory of the international creative scene. A unique meeting point where designers and brands come together, united by a shared passion for design.
The call for entries for the 2024 ADA is officially open!
The ADA 2024 Jury
An international jury, made up of the most influential figures on the global creative scene, will select the winners of the Archiproducts Design Awards. A heterogeneous and multidisciplinary panel, able to interpret the signs of the contemporary world and recognise the projects that best embody the spirit of our time.
Sustainability is no longer an option, but rather, it is an imperative for contemporary design. The ADA 2024 reaffirms this commitment by rewarding not only aesthetics and functionality but also respect for the environment and the use of eco-compatible materials and processes: a second jury, specialised in eco-design and sustainability, will select the brands that stand out for their concrete commitment to minimising the environmental impacts of their products over their entire life cycle, through the use of sustainable and recyclable materials and the reduction of polluting emissions.
Archiproducts Design Awards 2024: The Trophies
Every year, Archiproducts celebrates design excellence by awarding companies in fourteen categories, as well as the designers who create the winning products.
The ADA 2023 award in the DeDarié finish
Once again, the partnership with De Castelli is confirmed; they will produce the trophy for the winning brands: a sculptural object designed by the Spanish studio MUT Design, which once again experiments with the expressiveness and uniqueness of De Castelli metal.
Salvatori’s ADA 2023 in the Grigio Versilia finish
The partnership with Salvatori is also renewed, and for the 2024 edition, they will produce the trophy for the designers of the winning products: a marble monolith inspired by the Archiproducts Design Awards logo designed by Michael Anastassiades.
The Sustainability Award 2023 made by Riva 1920 in Lebanese scented cedar wood
The Sustainability Award, in collaboration with Riva 1920, will also return. Introduced for the 2023 edition of the ADA, it is a prize dedicated to all products that adhere to the logic of the circular economy: a sculptural object designed by the AMDL CIRCLE studio led by Michele De Lucchi and manufactured by Riva 1920 in fragrant Cedar of Lebanon.
Once again, the jury will select the Designer of the Year 2024, identifying the professional who, with his or her vision and creative talent, has been able to identify the new trends in design.
The steel house designed and made in collaboration with CEADESIGN for ADA Jurors 2023
For the 2024 edition, the jury of the Archiproducts Design Awards will also be honoured with a precious steel mini-architecture designed and produced in collaboration with Ceadesign. This special award called the “Jury Seal“, introduced in 2022, recognises the vital contribution of the jury in the complex process of evaluating the submissions.
How to Apply
The call for entries for the 2024 edition of the Archiproducts Design Awards is officially open!
Each brand can submit between 1 and 5 products, from furniture to lighting to contract and construction. Those who also wish to compete for the title of ADA 2024 Sustainability Winner must explicitly state this intention and provide the necessary documentation to demonstrate the use of sustainable materials and technologies.
The deadline for registration is 9 September 2024.
In October, the long list of proposals admitted to the final phase of the award will be announced.
The winners will be revealed in November.
