The Archiproducts Design Awards Special Mention for Regione Puglia was created to spotlight the energy and innovative potential of Apulian design—authentic expression of place, culture, skills, and people. With this Special Mention, the ADA 2024 honors 12 brands that showcase Puglia’s excellence in design, introducing them to the international design and architecture elite. Their products reflect materials, inspirations, and stories deeply connected to their region, representing Puglia’s drive to share its unique design on the global stage.
Natuzzi Italia
Natuzzi, founded in 1959 by Pasquale Natuzzi, is one of the most renowned brands in the production and distribution of design and luxury furniture. Starting as a small artisan workshop, Natuzzi has built a global reputation for the quality of its products, which seamlessly combine comfort and style. Amura Lab
Amura Lab embodies the Mediterranean warmth of its territory, Altamura, evoking the authentic beauty of Puglia and its traditional craftsmanship. It is a laboratory of research and experiments on trends and materials to create luxury Italian furniture and sofas. Amura Lab achieves a perfect synthesis of form and function with a look on innovation that never abandons the foundations of the craft and its origins.
Barba Design
Barba design, founded by Mattia Barba, is a young company specializing in storage systems and units for the living room created to innovate furniture production while honoring family craftmanship traditions. Originating from the family’s wood joinery established in the late 80s, Barba Design combines a dedication to woodcraft with a refined, sophisticated design aimed at a broader market.
Conte Casa
Conte Casa, based in Altamura, produces high–quality beds, mattresses, and living area furniture. Founded in 1985 by Carlo Conte, the company combines craftsmanship and innovation to meet both national and international markets. A distinguishing element of all Conte products is customization, thanks to the wide range of leathers and fabrics, different types of wood, and various natural marbles crafted by skilled artisans.
Euroluce Lampadari
Euroluce Lampadari has been operating for 25 years in the lighting industry, telling a dynamic story that evolves day after day thanks to the know-how of its artisans, technicians, and designers. Based in Andria, in northern Puglia, Euroluce expresses the essence of Made in Italy in every creation and project, focusing on the excellence of materials and quality of workmanship, as well as on customization, ambience, safety, energy saving, and automation.
IAPIGI
IAPIGI, based in Nardò, is a creative atelier dedicated to design, where the tradition of Made in Italy merges with experimentation, innovation, and sustainability. As a wallcovering producer, it draws inspiration from its surroundings—an endless source of new ideas and suggestions, rich heritage, and a story to know, tell, and respect. Each phase of the production process is carefully crafted, from design to the final realization of the wallcovering, ensuring precision in every detail.
Monitillo1980
Monitillo1980, based in Altamura among the Murgia hills, specializes in processing marble, granite, and natural stone. In a production area covering 12,000 square meters, stone takes shape in the expert hands of craftsmen supported by cutting-edge technology. Since its founding, the company has been dedicated to celebrating the beauty and versatility of materials, transforming them into furnishings, wall paneling, and accessories that harmoniously blend into home environments.
Pimar
Pimar has a historical tradition of over 150 years in natural limestone manufacturing in Lecce. The company has focused on stone extraction from its quarries and processing to create not only traditional but also technical projects, where to preserve tradition and create new values. Pimar is strongly committed to sustainable development and the environment, investing in renewable energy and the efficient use of resources to promote a more sustainable future.
Rimura
Rimura produces tailor-made and ecological wallpapers. From design to production, the company reinterprets wallcovering with fully customizable options, inspired designs, fine craftsmanship, and sustainable materials. With decades of expertise in communication and digital printing, Rimura combines technical skill, creativity, and quality materials to create wallpapers that transform and protect living and working spaces.
Sprech
Sprech was founded more than 40 years ago by Pasquale Rescio, who combined his passion and experience in steel and fabric covers to set up a company whose core business is the design and manufacture of tensile structures for outdoor spaces. The company is renowned for using high–quality raw materials to manufacture products to the highest standards using the latest in modern machinery.
Trame di Pietra
Trame di Pietra was created by TWS in 2016, following 30 years of experience in the extraction and transformation of natural stones and marbles. Based in Ostuni, the project focuses on research, expertise in natural stones, waste reduction, and responsible use of resources. Its goal is to offer an innovative interpretation of classic materials like stone and marble, with unique textures and patterns that transform these materials into exquisite surfaces, suitable for flooring and wall coverings.
Tubico
Tubico, based in Polignano a Mare, specializes in eco-friendly bathroom and kitchen taps, and accessories. Designed to embrace a more sustainable lifestyle, its products combine form and function, offering both beauty and ease of use. Using PVD technology, originally developed for the aerospace industry, Tubico achieves durable, eco-friendly finishes with no health impact. All accessories are an invitation to improve habits and free up creativity in the spaces.
