Satya Cacioppe

Satya Cacioppe is an architect and designer with more than 15 years of varied experience, whose work has made her a distinguished leader in the profession. Satya’s passion for creating products and environmental experiences that enhance people’s lives and contribute to a more sustainable and equitable world is evident in everything she does.

 

As Head of Product Development at SOM, she brings her expertise in concept design, product development, and design management to drive innovation and excellence across the firm’s diverse portfolio of projects. In this role, Satya is overseeing the design of new product lines, as well as bringing daylight to the firm’s long history of creating new furniture, fittings and finishes.

 

Prior to joining SOM, Satya held positions  at Rivian, which designs and manufactures electric cars, and Kelly Wearstler, a firm whose work spans architecture, interiors and industrial design, where she led all categories of product design across retail, trade and contract projects.
