Luigi Rosselli is founder of Sydney architecture practice Luigi Rosselli Architects.
Born in Milan, Luigi Rosselli early starts involved working along eminent masters of architecture such as Mario Botta, Alvaro Siza, and Aldo Giurgola in universities and workplaces in Milano, Lausanne, Switzerland and New York.
Rosselli moved to Australia to work on the design of Canberra’s Parliament House and settled in Sydney in 1984 where he shortly after commenced his own practice in Surry Hills.
LRA is a carbon neutral practice, applying sustainable building practices as demonstrated by their expertise in rammed earth and energy efficiency. The practice takes a humanist approach to architecture and design; eager to instil good design and humane architecture that develops affinities, and create sympathetic buildings that flow and appeal. Over three decades, the studio has completed a wide variety of projects: from multi residential, heritage & residential projects with breath-taking coastal views over Sydney, to sustainable new builds that flawlessly integrate into the landscape such as ‘The Great Wall of WA”
Rosselli has lectured at conferences, universities and schools both in Australia and around Europe and has been recognized for his approach to architecture & design with multiple awards.
