Francesca Molteni is graduated in Philosophy at the University of Milan and studied Film Production at New York University. Since 2002 she produces and directs documentaries, tv formats, videos, and curates design exhibitions. In 2009 she founded MUSE Factory of Projects, a production company based in Milan. In 2016 she documented the US election for La Casa Bianca [The White House], a TV program, Rai3. In 2012 she received the Award for Innovation assigned by the President of the Italian Republic, and the Compasso d’Oro honorable mention. In 2013, the Cathay Pacific Award for women entrepreneurs. She’s a contributor to Vogue and Casa Vogue Italy, GQ, Elle Decor, IlSole24Ore; and the author of the book Oggetti d’impresa [Objects of Enterprise], Carocci, 2016. In 2017 she has curated with Maria Cristina Didero SuperDesign, a film about Italian Radical Design, promoted by R&Company Gallery and produced by MUSE.
