Florence Bourel is an independent designer, established in Paris since 1998.
Her mixed Breton and African origins are visible in the unique combination of influences, styles and disciplines that characterize her creations. Vibrant colors and textures unite in pure, intemporel forms, to create an esthetic that is at once poetical, elegant and refined. Traditional craftsmanship and modernity weave a constant dialogue in furniture, objects, carpets, lighting, scenography, signage, surface and pattern design…The variety of her interventions in multiple fields stimulates her creative skills and provides context and panoramic vision for all her projects.
In particular, the graphics and color in her carpet designs for the French brand Toulemonde Bochart , or her collection of objects for Hermès (Petit h), reflect the power and vibrancy of the artist’s unique, personal universe.
Florence works with brands such as Hermès, Désio, Flam&Luce, La Fibule, Kilims Ada, Le Monde Sauvage, Serax, Cristallerie Saint-Louis, Toulemonde Bochart…
She is a graduate in interior and product design of prestigious institutions in France and Italy (LISAA and Istituto Europeo di Design).
