New perspectives join the Archiproducts Design Awards 2026, spanning interiors research, design culture and Italian craftsmanship
The Archiproducts Design Awards 2026 welcome Elisa Ossino, Marco Sammicheli and RedDuo to the jury, bringing together three different yet complementary approaches to contemporary design: the poetic construction of space, a critical reading of design culture, and the promotion of Italian craftsmanship.
The international prize by Archiproducts, dedicated to excellence in contemporary design, continues to shape a diverse jury called to evaluate products that combine research, formal quality, innovation and design awareness.
Across interiors, product design, exhibitions, curatorial practice, short supply chains and traceable materials, the new jurors bring to the Awards a sensitivity rooted in matter, memory and the cultural value of objects.
Elisa Ossino on the ADA 2026 Jury: space as a suspended composition
Sicilian architect and designer Elisa Ossino trained in Milan, where she studied at the Politecnico. In 2006, she founded Elisa Ossino Studio, working across residential and retail interiors, product design, exhibitions and creative direction.
Her language emerges from the intersection of geometric abstraction, monochrome compositions, metaphysical atmospheres and surrealist references. Space, light and objects are brought together through a distinctive design vocabulary made of essential lines, precise signs and suspended atmospheres.
In her compositions, lightness becomes a narrative device: geometries turn into scenic presences, while objects take on an almost immaterial quality. Her work looks to Modernism and the Bauhaus, as well as to Primitivism and Surrealism, often preserving a strong pictorial dimension.
Alongside this formal precision, Ossino’s practice reveals a deep interest in craftsmanship and its ability to generate unique outcomes. This attention coexists with research into new materials and with a sensitivity towards processes inspired by the circular economy.
Over the years, Elisa Ossino has collaborated with numerous international companies, including Amini, Boffi, Cartier, Cristina Rubinetterie, De Castelli, De Padova, Dieffebi, Fantini, Foscarini, Hermès, Living Divani, Molteni, Porro, Rubelli, Salvatori, Trussardi, V-Zug, Viccarbe and Zanotta. She is also Creative Director of Amini and Dieffebi.
Her work has received national and international recognition, including the Red Dot Award Best of the Best, an Honourable Mention at the Compasso d’Oro ADI, the iF Design Award, the EDIDA Award and Best of Interiors by Elle Decor Italia. She has been listed several times among the AD100 by the AD Architectural Digest network; the pop-up store she designed for Hermès won the Prix Versailles 2021. In 2018, she was named Young Designer Talent, and in 2021 Designer of the Year by Elle Decor Japan.
Beyond her design practice, Ossino has created exhibitions and scenographies including Lumiere for Foscarini at Triennale Milano, La casa fluida and Material Home for Elle Decor at Palazzo Bovara, and Augusto Betti Artista + Designer for Paradiso Terrestre at Galleria Sozzani. She was also part of W-Women in Italian Design at the Triennale Design Museum, the RebelBiennale2021 exhibition at the Venice Architecture Biennale – Italy Pavilion, and projects presented by the Venice Design Biennale.
Marco Sammicheli on the ADA 2026 Jury: a critical perspective on design culture
Marco Sammicheli is curator of the Design, Fashion and Craft sector and director of the Museo del Design Italiano at Triennale Milano. He brings to the ADA 2026 jury a perspective shaped by research, design history and the construction of cultural narratives.
Since 2018, he has also served as Triennale Milano’s representative to the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) in Paris. His curatorial work spans an international context, with exhibitions in Europe, Latin America and Asia, as well as essays and publications for cultural institutions.
A columnist for Il Sole 24 Ore and Interni, Sammicheli has curated books, exhibitions and research projects dedicated to key figures in twentieth-century and contemporary design culture, including Mario Bellini, Carlo Mollino and Zaha Hadid.
Among his most recent exhibition projects are monographic shows dedicated to Alberto Meda, Inga Sempé, Monica Bolzoni, Franco Raggi, Lella and Massimo Vignelli, Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby and Ettore Sottsass at Triennale Milano. He also curated the retrospective on Estúdio Campana at the Power Station of Art in Shanghai and the retrospective on Bruno Munari at the Museo del Novecento in Milan.
Alongside his curatorial practice, he is an adjunct professor at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. He also serves on the boards of Collezione Paolo VI, Fondazione Cirulli, Fondazione Vico Magistretti and Fondazione ITS Arcademy.
On the Archiproducts Design Awards 2026 jury, Sammicheli contributes an outlook that reads design not only as the production of objects, but as a cultural system, a historical language and a tool for interpreting the present.
RedDuo on the ADA 2026 Jury: design as a story of Italian know-how

Archiproducts Design Awards 2026: Call for Entries Now Open
Submissions for the 2026 Archiproducts Design Awards are open. Brands may submit 1 to 5 products, ranging from Furniture and Lighting to Contract and Building.
To compete for the ADA 2026 Sustainability Winner title, entrants must indicate during the application process that they wish to enter this category and provide the required documentation.
