Matthieu Pinet

Matthieu Pinet, director of MATTER and SHAPE, is a graduate of the Institut Français de la Mode and began his career at the Salon du Prêt-à-Porter Paris. He co-founded the Paris-based communication agency Icône, before launching the fashion platform The Shape of the Season and its design affiliate, MATTER and SHAPE, in 2013. In 2017, he created Exposed Paris, an alternative space supporting the Salon International de la Lingerie’s creative strategy, and was appointed its director in 2022. In July 2023, WSN invited him to evolve MATTER and SHAPE into a physical event, first presented in March 2024 during Paris Fashion Week in the Jardin des Tuileries.
