Tiziano Guardini

Roman, born in 1980. After graduating in economics, the decision to pursue studies at the Fashion Academy of Rome marked the turning point in his professional path. A journey rich in human encounters and significant experiences led him to create an innovative and deeply conscious approach to fashion: ECOuture.

An “evolutionary” way of making Couture that skillfully blends craftsmanship, innovation, respect, and experimentation. This is, in short, the philosophy of Tiziano Guardini, a designer who has always been attentive to research in all its forms.

Searching for special materials, highly sustainable and cruelty-free, for techniques, form, and content, where ethics and aesthetics represent an essential combination because, for him, everything must remain within the value chain.

One of the most significant moments in his career was in 2012, when, after participating in the limited/unlimited edition, he presented the “pine needles” jacket, sharing his aesthetics and message as a sustainable designer, or rather, “nature’s designer.”

Following a review in the NY Times, he was invited to participate in the Vogue Fashion Night Out in Rome in the same year and showcased one of his creations at the historic Trinità dei Monti.

In 2013, he launched his Accessories collection, participating as a guest at the WHITE Trade Show in Milan and displaying some of his creations at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

In 2014, he was invited as a guest to the United Nations in Geneva for the Fashion for Forest and Forest for Fashion event alongside Maestro Michelangelo Pistoletto.

In 2015, he participated in the exhibition “The Elegance of Food, Tales about Food and Fashion” at the Museum of the Trajan Markets in Rome, with a dress created with embroidered licorice roots.

In 2016 he showcased his work during the Ethical Fashion Show of Milan Fashion Week. In March, he won the Bronze Hempel Fashion Award in Beijing. In July, he collaborated with Oscar-winning Milena Canonero for the production of the show *Cum Grande Humilitate* at the Milan Cathedral. In October, he took part in the Green Carpet Challenge event during the Rome International Film Festival.

In 2017, he collaborated for the first time with Vegea, a bio-based leather made from the waste of wine production. He was the first to win the “FRANCA SOZZANI, GREEN CARPET FASHION AWARD FOR BEST EMERGING DESIGNER” and, in October, the “PETA COUTURE AWARD.”

In 2018, he collaborated on a docu-film with Oscar-winner Michelle Yeoh in partnership with the United Nations and the Michelangelo Pistoletto Foundation.

From September 2019, he presented his collections within the official Milan Fashion Week calendar; his work alternates between ready-to-wear and haute couture, with the latter continuing to be exhibited in museums around the world, such as in the “Fashioned From Nature” exhibition at the V&A Museum, the “Italia: la Bellezza della Conoscenza” Exhibition at Dubai 2020, or most recently “RARA Avis” at Uccelliere Farnesiane in 2024.

Tiziano Guardini’s creative work becomes the expression of a globally admired awareness, becoming in 2024 the Ambassador of Design and showcasing his approach in Hong Kong for Italian Design Day. For Tiziano, every creative expression must aim for harmony with nature because, as he says, “there is no difference between us and the environment.”
