Rodolfo Agrella on the jury of the Archiproducts Design Awards 2024

Rodolfo Agrella is a New York-based designer and architect born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela.
In 2015, he founded the RADS studio to combine his different commitments and types of work: art and creative direction, spatial interventions for interiors, exhibitions and other architectural fields, products, and graphic design. With the same finesse of form, tone, and texture, he ranges from product development to the staging of a gala dinner. This interdisciplinary studio can merge and distil diverse inspirations and needs into playful, seemingly effortless, yet sophisticated concepts.

RADS is made up of a multi-ethnic group of qualified professionals working in different parts of the world. Each figure brings unique technical expertise and cultural insights. Agrella and his team aim to develop and maintain close collaborations with international brands such as Absolut, Koziol, TaiPing Carpets, Silverspot Cinemas, Bernhardt Design, Heller, 3M, MoMA, Aid for Aids, Steinway & Sons, Wanted Design and ICFF, of which Agrella is creative director.
“Regardless of the task at hand, It’s all about developing purposeful solutions by harnessing and transforming available materials, and working with the conditions of a finite space or set budget. Our goal is to make something complex appear simple.”
Paradowski Studio

Paradowski Studio is a Polish design studio founded by Zuza and Piotr Paradowski. It is a group of architects and designers who seek inspiration at the intersection of art, contemporary design, and traditional craftsmanship. In the search for inspiration and a truly unique style, the studio likes to fuse elements from different periods of architecture and design history.
Paradowski Studio avoids shortcuts and prefabricated solutions. Instead, it uses classic, sometimes forgotten elements of design and production methods. The studio takes great care to respect the ‘particular’ in its projects, down to the smallest detail, giving each a unique and very personal character. The studio’s portfolio covers a wide range of work, from private and intimate interiors to design for the catering and commercial sectors and hotel interiors.
Thanks to an all-encompassing design approach and rigorous attention to detail, P.S.’s interiors are characterised by an individual character, expressed through carefully selected lighting and fabrics, a variety of colours, forms and textures that together create unique atmospheres in the studio’s personal design language. Since 2022, the studio has been recognised by the AD100 list as one of the 100 best design studios.
