British-Nigerian artist and designer Miminat Shodeinde was born and raised in London. Her work sits between art, interior architecture and design, combining an architectural approach with a strong artistic sensibility.

As the founder of Miminat Designs, Shodeinde works across residential, commercial, hospitality, retail and yacht projects worldwide. Her interiors bring together old and new, contrasting elements and carefully considered materials, creating immersive spaces in which architecture and art are closely intertwined.

Alongside interiors, the studio develops sculptural furniture, lighting and objects that explore the boundary between art and design. Form and function are treated as complementary rather than separate, with each piece shaped by its material character and craftsmanship.

The studio’s collections are handcrafted and hand-finished by British and European artisans, combining contemporary techniques with traditional making processes. The result is a body of work in which furniture and objects become an integral part of the spatial experience.

Founded in Milan in 2020 by Guglielmo Giagnotti and Patrizio Gola, studioutte is a multidisciplinary practice working across interior architecture, decoration and furniture design.

The studio’s work draws on Italian vernacular architecture and regional traditions, translating these references into contemporary interiors and objects. Rather than pursuing minimalism through reduction alone, studioutte focuses on essential forms, tactile materials and a more instinctive relationship with space.

Its interiors have a distinctive warmth and physical presence, balancing expressive elements with a sense of simplicity. Architecture, furniture and objects are conceived as part of the same language rather than as separate layers of a project.

Even the studio’s name reflects this interest in the origins of dwelling. Studiouttederives from the German hütte, meaning hut, cabin or shelter — a reference to the archetypal forms of inhabiting that inform the practice’s work.
