The Archiproducts Design Awards turn 10. The first jurors revealed for this special edition
Jakob Lange, Titi Ogufere, and Claudia Afshar are the first confirmed jurors for the 2025 Archiproducts Design Awards, the international Prize that honors excellence in contemporary design as a fusion of culture, function, and innovation.
The 10th edition of the ADA is kicking off – an important milestone that makes this year particularly special. The award’s tenth anniversary further strengthens the awards’ reputation as a standout event in the global design landscape.
Once again, companies from around the world are invited to submit their products to compete for the title of “Winner,” which will be awarded by a distinguished and eclectic jury.
The first confirmed jurors for this special edition bring expertise ranging from architecture to interior design, technological experimentation and the promotion of local cultures: Danish architect Jakob Lange, partner at BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group; Nigerian designer Titi Ogufere, founder of Design Week Lagos and CEO of Essential Interiors; and Los Angeles-based interior designer Claudia Afshar.

Danish architect Jakob Lange, partner at BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group, is among the jurors for the 2025 Archiproducts Design Awards.
A key figure behind some of BIG’s most iconic projects, he has led the development of innovative works, including Copenhill – a waste-to-energy plant with an integrated ski slope; The Mountain – a combination of residential and parking architecture; and Urban Rigger – floating student housing in the Copenhagen harbor.
Jakob also heads BIG Products, the studio’s product design division, where he collaborates with leading companies to develop sustainable and innovative products, from custom furnishings to advanced building systems, merging refined detail with a sweeping vision.
Titi Ogufere, Founder of Design Week Lagos, on the ADA 2025 Jury
Titi Ogufere
Designer, curator, and cultural advocate Titi Ogufere is a leading voice in contemporary African design. Founder of Design Week Lagos and CEO of Essential Interiors with offices in Lagos and Abuja, her work spans private residences, luxury hotels, and corporate offices across Africa, Europe, the U.S., and the Middle East. Her notable projects include the Pullman Hotel and the M Gallery Hotel in Nigeria, examples of hospitality reimagined through a contemporary African lens.
Outside her design practice, Ogufere founded the Interior Designers Association of Nigeria (IDAN) and the African Council for Interior Architects and Designers (ACIAD). In 2020, she became the first African to serve as President of the International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers (IFI), where she championed a new narrative for design based on identity, craft, and innovation.
Claudia Afshar, Los Angeles–based Interior Designer, on the ADA 2025 Jury
Claudia Afshar
British with Iranian heritage, Claudia Afshar leads the Los Angeles studio bearing her name. She is a recognized name in high-end residential, commercial, and hospitality interior design with a style that blends timeless elegance, understated luxury and the sophisticated use of natural materials, neutral palettes, and refined textures.
Featured in numerous international publications, Afshar brings a sensitive, experience-driven approach to the jury.
Archiproducts Design Awards 2025: Call for Entries Now Open!
Submissions for the 2025 Archiproducts Design Awards are officially open. Brands may submit 1 to 5 products, ranging from Furniture to Lighting, Contract to Building.
To compete for the ADA 2025 Sustainability Winner title, entrants must indicate that they are competing for this category during the application process and provide the required documentation.
